Youth Designer Challenge - Day 2
We have partnered with the Salvation Army to host a challenge that features eight (8) high school students who aspire to be a part of the fashion industry. The Twist? These students have little-to-no experience designing.
During this two-day challenge, students will design looks made entirely from materials they pulled during a shopping spree at a local Salvation Army store.
One day two, in partnership with STITCHWORKS, the selected you will visit the "Creativity Lab;" a pop-up garment production factory. The youth designers are partnered with mentors from the American Sewing Guild and Communinty Creators and given 7 hours to create their looks, which will be exhibited during the final runway show.
This opportunity is open to youth ages 11-17 who are either located in Indiana or able to travel to Indiana for for the required dates.
